Sexbomb's "Bilog na Hugis Itlog"

Are you a registered voter? Do you already know how you will vote on the Election 2010? 

Sexbomb is now instructing the people on automated election through their jingle "Bilog na Hugis Itlog".
Bilog na Hugis Itlog is the promotional and direction-giving jingle for the upcoming 2010 election… Sexbomb describes the process of shading ballots on their jingle... It also teaches voters to cast votes by simply shading the circle that corresponds to the name of their preferred officials.

Celebrate New Year without firecrackers

2010 is now coming and we must observe celebrating New Year without incurring any firecracker related injuries.


DOH is now working hard on their advocacy "Oplan : Iwas Paputok"

DOH said 59 percent of the victims experienced blast cases without amputation, 13 percent were blast injuries with amputation. On the other hand, 24 or 28 percent suffered eye injuries due to firecrackers use.

It was also reported that those who were affected were age groups from 11 to 20 years in which, most of them were males...

FYI: DOH added that the top five firecrackers that causes injuries were camara, trirangulo, pikulo, homemade and unknown...

Calling all students, independent and amateur filmmakers and film/media collectives to submit entries.

Categories: documentary, narrative, animation, experimental, PSAs, motion graphics, etc.

Themes: people's issues and struggles, human rights, war and peace, gender, etc. Special attention to films on children's situation and participatory media production

Works produced from 2000 onwards are accepted.

More than one entry from one group or individual is allowed.

Works from Luzon, Visayas, MIndanao and NCR will have representation in the screenings.

Film Festival Date: August 5-9, 2009
